Top NFT Collections and Games this Week – April 23

top play-to-earn games

Lots of movement on the charts this week for both web3 games and NFT collections. Iskra continues to dominate the gaming charts while the Bored and Mutant Apes claim the top two spots for overall NFT sales over the past week.

Though the announcement from The Otherside about an upcoming game called Legends of Mara caused lots of buzz, it was the Mutant Apes that got the most attention this week. Long a neglected part of the Bored Ape franchise, the Mutants may soon be getting their own game called Serum City.

Gala Games also caused a stir with the announcement a new version of their GALA token. Other recent gaming news includes the implementation of cross-chain dependencies on Mega World, Axie launching season 2 of their Homeland alpha, Undead Blocks holding a new Genesis tournament with a 10k prize pool, and Mighty Action Heroes opening up a staking option.

The web3 gaming world is really revving up their overall output! Continue reading for more stories and subscribe to our newsletter for a weekly summary, as well as links to all of our articles from the week!

Iskra shoots even higher on the charts. But, as we mentioned in our first look at Iskra article, these numbers seem to be people logging into the website for a daily spin and win opportunity, which is even less of a game than mining in Alien Worlds.

In other gaming activity, both Splinterlands and Planet IX take a huge hit in player numbers. Arc8 on the other hand, sees a nice boost. Perhaps related to their event with Mocaverse?
