Currently still in alpha testing, Eternal Dragons expands their potential playerbase with a new mobile app release! With play and earn leaderboards already available in this strategic auto-battler, the new mobile version may result in a noticeable increase in the number of active players.

Web3 gaming companies continue to make moves to claim their share of the lucrative mobile market. Eternal Dragons brings us a new mobile app, available for Android devices. You can download it here. The alpha is free to play and also runs in a browser if you don’t have an Android or don’t want to install the app.

Though still in alpha testing, Eternal Dragons features both PvE and PvP game modes, with leaderboards and prizes for both. Players can win Eternium tokens and even Descendant Eggs, which hatch into Genesis Dragons!

Eternal Dragons recently added a new Psychic Affinity to their units. Stack a team with Psychics to increase your team’s spellcasting and resistance. They also have a special upcoming Guild Tournament, complete with a new selection of Player Cards.

Guild Tournament

Eternal Dragons has a special guild tournament happening this weekend (April 29th-30th). This is an invite only tournament. Eternal Dragons selected the guilds to participate, and the guilds have already chosen their champions. However, you can still have a part in the tournament by purchasing Player Cards. Player Cards are special NFTs associated with specific players and tournaments. Holders of these cards receive a percentage of the player’s earnings during that tournament!

The players choose how to distribute their Player Cards. So they can choose to monetize them, work on building a support community, or whatever structure works with their ideas and goals as a professional eSports player.

This is a very interesting way for Eternal Dragons to build themselves up as an eSport and also provide professional players with assets they can use to further their careers.

You can look for Player Cards on Magic Eden.

What is Eternal Dragons

Eternal Dragons is an eSport, auto-battler game built on the Solana blockchain with Dragons as combat units. With numerous different classes, position-based abilities, and elemental affinities, Eternal Dragons is sure to offer plenty of room for different strategies and team builds. Dragons have basic stats of hit points, elemental power (magic damage), and physical power (physical damage).

In addition, units in Eternal Dragons have a number of other attributes that affect their combat abilities. First each has a default skill. This is the basic, and most often used skill for that Dragon. It can be an attack, heal, buff/debuff, or even some combination. Units also have prime stats they prefer. This will matter when players add items to units, as matching items to prime stats will provide better combat value. Dragons also have Skill Sets and Class Skills. Skill Set is a collection of abilities. Only Dragons with matching Skill Sets can use those abilities. And, as you might guess, Class Skills are specific to certain Dragon Classes.

Also, each Dragon class has certain other classes that it enjoys pairing with. These are known as “neighboring dragons”. Neighboring Dragons share Skill Sets. And they will tend to have class skills and abilities that harmonize well together. Dragons also receive bonuses from sharing affinities with teammates. Each NFT has an associated affinity such as Earth, Air, or Void.

So there is certainly a lot to consider when making teams and playing the game!
