Role Playing Games, or RPGs, give the player control over a fictional character with unique attributes, powers and weapons. In RPGs players control and grow their characters. They complete quests, earn experience points and increase the character’s power. RPGs on the blockchain strongly connect with non-fungible tokens (NFTs), as player items, and even the characters themselves can be tokenized and made into NFTs for player to player trading!

RPGs come in a variety of styles and themes. And though the larger, open-world style MMO games are still in development in the web3 world, there are a number of playable RPGS available already.
