My Neighbor Alice Second Land Sale Announced

my neighbor alice land sale

My Neighbor Alice, an upcoming casual building and decorating game similar to Animal Crossing, recently announced details about their second land sale. Up for sale are 1000 plots from the Shaded Headland region of Nature’s Rest Island. Players must participate in a lottery to win the option to buy land.

In order to purchase a land plot, players must first win a spot in the land lottery. Acquiring tickets to the lottery involves holding various ALICE LP (liquidity pool) pairs, and/ staking ALICE or CHR (Chromia) on their official site. Users are required to deposit at least 50 ALICE for eligibility. The lottery drawing will occur on August 12th at 10:00 UTC. When the lottery is complete, the winners will turn in the required 50 ALICE to receive their land plot.

Deposits opened on July 21st. However, the snapshots for ticket distribution won’t begin until July 28th, so you still have some time to prepare. Participants earn tickets daily and can earn for a maximum of 14 days (from July 28th through August 11th). Each ALICE staked to the land sale lottery portal generates one ticket per day. Staked Chromia generates 1 ticket per 20 CHR a day. Tokens that are in liquidity pools are also counted. LPs in farming pools will not count. They mus be in your linked wallet.

The ALICE token exists on the Binance Smart Chain, so all staking and token purchasing will happen there. Chromia can be staked from either the ETH network or BSC.

My Neighbor Alice held their first land sale back in June using the same strategy and it seemed to work well overall. There will be 100,000 plots in the game and players can design and decorate their land using NFTs to create their own, unique experience.

What is My Neighbor Alice?

My Neighbor Alice is a blockchain-powered multiplayer builder game in which players build their own virtual lands, interact with their neighbors, do all kinds of daily and social activities, and earn rewards. Anyone can join the world by buying a piece of land, participate in farming, fishing, bug catching, beekeeping, and many other activities. There are quests players can do together, while others are more competitive.

Neighborhoods will be governed by Community Councils. This is basically a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) where players can use their ALICE tokens to vote on certain decisions. Furthermore the DAO will gain more power over time to distribute revenues for additional game development.

On an in-game marketplace players can sell and buy different items and NFTs. Avatars allow for personalization, while character developments help them to unlock exclusive events and even rewards.

My Neighbor Alice plans to add DeFi elements to the game. NFTs will have collateral, making them more liquid and therefore economically useable. Each NFT gives a monthly interest for holding it, but token holders can also tap into the value.

A share of every NFT purchase will go into a collateral pool, and it’s tied to that particular NFT. If a user needs money, but there’s no buyer, they can lock their NFT and get the collateral instead. The NFT becomes locked and users then need to pay back the money in order to regain control over their digital assets.
