Infinite Arcade to Disrupt Web3 Gaming With Casual Mobile Games

Infinite Arcade cover

Infinite Arcade is creating the most comprehensive catalog of web3 casual games that anyone can play for profit on their devices. After purchasing an NFT, players can play for free or participate in the play-and-earn model.

Machine Infinite Arcade

The idea behind the casual gaming platform is to make web3 gaming easy and accessible to everyone. All of the games were web2 games before, developed by a plethora of successful game studios, and are now running with play and earn mechanics thanks to a powerful SDK integration. The final objective is to make the SDK popular and no-code, allowing as many game creators as possible to get involved.

The games are free to play, but you will require an NFT from their genesis collection, Infinite Arcade “Gamers”, at a current floor of 0.08 $ETH on OpenSea and with a total volume of 5.1 $ETH.

Players without the funds to buy an NFT can join their scholarship program. The scholarship model is completely trustless, meaning the scholar will never get ownership of the assets. The software also allows for the introduction of “managers”, people managing the assets for the asset owners.

Everyone can request a scholarship on their Discord server, and the admins will do their best to match the player with an NFT holder.

Infinite Arcade Gameplay

Infinite Arcade is not a game and doesn’t have specific gameplay. The developers like to define it as a metaverse of casual games.

There are plenty of titles you can experience right now, from little basketball games to cooking experiences, and platform adventures. Many genres are present in their catalog already, and many more are to come in Q3 2022.

Infinite Arcade aims to have so many games that you can’t get bored nor feel the need to play any other web2 game on your mobile device. At the end of the year, they should have over 150 games in their catalog.

Their massive selection of games provides a nearly limitless amount of experiences, and you can participate and earn in all of them with a single NFT purchase. All games share the same SDK and will allow you to connect your NFT.

Infinite Arcade Tokenomics

Infinite Arcade employs a commonly used duo-token internal economy. The tokens are $TIC, for in-game rewards and perks, $ARC for governance purposes, and a future DAO proposal.

$TIC has a maximum total supply of 9T (9,000,000,000,000), and can be heavily regulated based on demand. The rewards pool for players is mostly $TIC, with NFTs funding the treasury.

$ARC has not been released yet, and the team doesn’t have a specific date for the IDO.

Infinite Arcade only has one NFT collection as of now, but will soon release a land play. Lands will be similar to servers, and players will be able to host games they developed with the SDK.

Gamers can earn money playing the games by connecting their NFTs. It doesn’t matter which games you pick, rewards are distributed according to the time and objectives you achieve (eg. if you finish a mission), the game is irrelevant as long as it’s a partner of Infinite Arcade.

There’s a cap to 65 tokens per day, and you can participate in the play and earn economy of Infinite Arcade for a maximum of 2 hours per day. $TIC is currently worth around $0.01, meaning the total income you can take home after 2 hours is $0.65.

It might not seem overly exciting, but remember these are very casual, simple, and addictive games you can play with little to no effort. Additionally, you can purchase multiple assets and rent them out to increase your profits.

Wrapping up Infinite Arcade

Infinite Arcade is trying to conquer the 2 billion mobile games market with innovative SDKs, heavily focused on UGC and no-code game creators, offering a platform with an existing player base to decrease the chance of failures for new titles.

The tokenomics are very barebone as of now, and sustainability will surely be the main issue the developers have to face. Making all of this sustainable long-term will be hard. But the recent usage stats show that casual mobile games are in high demand in the play-to-earn space.

“We have a lot planned at Infinite Arcade. Right now our heads are down building new products. We’re building a Meta Game where players can claim their free NFT characters, earn rewards, and wager crypto to compete with other gamers across dozens of fun mobile games. Everything will be on-chain and drive ownership and value for both gamers and game developers. The future is bright for games built with blockchain.”
