Planet Mojo is a beautiful upcoming fantasy play-and-earn metaverse that is set for release in the next quarter! So, let’s learn more about this project, their Mojo NFT mint coming up on the 6th and 7th of June, and all the perks that you’ll get by being an early bird in Planet Mojo.
There is no denying that the crypto market is bearish, but that isn’t stopping this team from delivering a genuine and fun product, with a big emphasis on artwork and fun gameplay.
But even though this is a AAA game you won’t need an expensive machine to run it because even with well-polished graphics, you’ll be able to play it for free from your browser and later with your smartphone.
Planet Mojo gameplay
Planet Mojo initially will come out in Q3 of 2022 with 2 game modes:
- Mojo Melee, an auto chess battler where you’ll be able to play with your NFT Mojos and Champions. You will also have SpellStones, which will allow you to pre-select certain spells that will also be unleashed on the battlefield.
- Biome, which is the land gameplay of Planet Mojo.
This is a casual game mode in the vein of Animal Crossing where, if you’re a biome holder, you’ll do some simple daily quests and you’ll farm some Ore and other resources with your NFT Mojo, and can also craft BattleStones, which are NFTs to be used for tournaments and to increase earnings.

Mojo will interact with Polygon, which has been the choice of many similar projects. It will also have a dual token economy, and each token will have the following utility:

Now the question you should be asking yourself is, is this sustainable in the long term?
Impossible to be sure at this point and it will depend on many factors:
- How much Ore do you earn?
- How much Ore is required to upgrade NFTs?
- Combat potential of an upgraded NFT VS non upgraded NFT
- How much $MOJ do you get in tournaments
- Overall demand for Planet Mojo’s NFTs
- The difference in price between not upgraded and upgraded NFT
- How often meta changes
- How much can free players earn VS Mojo holders
… I could keep going the whole night, there are many variables.
Personally, I believe in the longevity of the project, and I am bullish, but the truth is that no one managed to deliver a long-term self-sustainable product so far. So, only time will tell.

Planet Mojo is well-financed and supported by major players in the space. Animoca Brands, Alameda Research, Polygon Studios, and Merit Circle are some of them.
Conclusion
Overall, I like what I’ve seen with Planet Mojo, and I think it has a good chance of succeeding in this newborn industry.
We’ve seen that the team has experience in developing other videogames and that is a big plus. The artwork looks great, NFTs are 3D and animated, the community is already big and hyped and gameplay also looks really appealing.
The upcoming mint also looks promising for many reasons. One of them is that they have a product ready to be delivered in the next 1-3 months and, if you’ve been in NFT Gaming for a while, you know that most projects do the NFT Mint or IDOs with only a litepaper to offer.
Nevertheless, always do your own research and only invest what you can afford to lose, NFT Gaming is a high-risk game, never forget that.
