Here is our second weekly roundup of the top play-to-earn and NFT games. The surprise of the week is the rise of ParWar to the third spot of the rankings by active players, despite its simplistic gameplay. NFT Worlds remains the top Metaverse projects by volume of assets traded on OpenSea.
Top play-to-earn games by active users
Game | Active Users 7 days | Change |
1. Splinterlands | 548k | +4.6% |
2. Alien Worlds | 276k | +4% |
3. Crazy Defense Heroes | 175k | +1.7% |
4. ParWar | 152k | +246% |
5. MOBOX: NFT Farmer | 141k | -0.4% |
6. Upland | 138k | -6.4% |
7. Farmers World | 112k | -7% |
8. Bomb Crypto | 67.5k | -14% |
9. Axie Infinity | 61.3k | -1.9% |
10. Galaxy Blocks | 60k | +36% |
No major change in the top ten games this week. The only surprise is the sudden rise of ParWar. ParWar is a simplistic click-to-fight game in which you create Pars with $BNB and send them to attack other players’s Pars. The active players figure here is to take with a grain of salt as bots could easily swarm the game due to its simplistic design and take advantage of the game.

2. The Sandbox | 1,378 | -29% |
3. Decentraland | 932 | -30% |

8. Cryptovoxels | 118 | +4.3% |
9. Treeverse Plots | 98 | -35% |
10. Somnium Space VR | 90 | +331% |
NFT Worlds still tops the Metaverse and Virtual Worlds chart this week. Despite slowing down, the volume of assets traded is still impressive. We also notice a huge spike in The Sandbox Assets. The Alpha Season 2 currently taking place introduced some pretty difficult experiences and players probably rushed to get themselves some more powerful items to boost their avatar’s abilities.
