R-Planet Preparing for Conquest Phase

rplanet laboratory upgrade

The NFT-powered exploration game R-Planet is preparing for its upcoming Conquest phase, introducing the user interface and improve some functionalities. These changes will be done over a series of updates, starting with a generator upgrade and easier access to staking options. The developers announced these changes in a recent blog post.

Players will now find an upgrade for the generator in their laboratory, which allows them to see ‘All Recipes’. From this location players can directly craft items without needing to switch pages. In addition they will update the user interface to make the staking options accessible from the settings menu that’s on any page.

In the Laboratory players will find three tabs: generator, my elements and all recipes. This last one allows users to see all the recipes they own, and immediately craft the item if they have the resources. However, if a material is missing, players can click it to discover whether they have the resources to craft that material. It’s quick and easy.

The next update that’s coming to R-Planet will focus on Alchemy.

Land upgrading launched this summer

Earlier this summer R-Planet already had some interesting updates. The biggest one was in preparation for the robot wars, as players can now upgrade their land. Upgrading land is an important part of the next phase, as each level increases the land’s mineral production. The minerals harvested will be used to build and power robots. And who doesn’t want their own robot army?!

Players can boost the production of minerals on their land by burning elements, which are fungible tokens on the blockchain. These same elements were also used to create other elements. The amount of Aether needed to create each element determines its upgrade power. Players burn up to three elements at a time to upgrade a land. Furthermore, each land can be boosted as high as level 200.

What is R-Planet?

The story from R-Planet is about finding planets where we can live. Humanity will pick Mars, but this requires research and testing. That’s where the NFT elements come into place. Combining these will allow humanity to discover more elements, and maybe solve the puzzle. Players will be staking NFTs, mining AETHER, buying and trading these basic materials, using them to create something new, and then the cycle continuous.

The amount of AETHER someone earns for their NFTs isn’t a fixed rate anymore. It’s all about the total amount of all staked NFTs, and your participation in the pool. Finding a pool with little activity, could proof to be fruitful.

The roadmap for R-Planet goes a lot further. The third phase will be Conquest, during which players construct and battle armies or robots.
