Stepico and Immutable have announced that their Founder Sale for the upcoming mobile action role playing game Guild of Guardians will happen in the next two weeks. The exclusive NFTs come with Gems, while early backers get a discount on their purchase and an NFT with a low serial number.
Gamers who join in on the Founder Sale will get a Guild of Guardians NFT that they can use inside the game, think about a hero character. However, they will have to wait until the game launches on mobile devices in 2022.
In addition to buying that NFT, they will also get some Gems. These Gems are an in-game currency, but also an ERC-20 token. Gems will be distributed to players and community members for certain actions, including completing missions in the game. They can then use these Gems to pay for certain items or ‘minting actions’. Spent Gems go into a reward pool that goes to active community members or token stakers.
Combat explained
Guild of Guardians will offer a singleplayer campaign in which you control a team of heroes. Most likely there will be four heroes in each squad, but players only control one at the time. Even though the game features singleplayer, it’s promoted a lot as a cooperative game. In co-op raids players can work together, using their own characters, to beat a single boss. Based on your team, some monsters are easier to beat than others. The composition of a team is important to counter passive buffs, debuffs and spells. While player buffs can also help team members to overcome challenges. There are also team buffs, for example by having a group of characters from the same class.
