Gamers who will soon buy land in the space strategy exploration game R-Planet, also get the opportunity to earn a piece of land in Uplift World. First you will need to acquire a piece of land in R-Planet, which then needs to be boosted. Every boosted piece of land is automatically eligible for a land parcel in Uplift.
Starting from April 15th at 16:00 UTC, that’s this Thursday, land for R-Planet will be available for sale and buyers will have a chance to win some land for Uplift World. This pre-sale is only available for a select number of users, and you need to pre-register through Telegram. The public land sale will take place on April 29th.
Once players buy a piece of land, they will need 5 million AETHER tokens to upgrade their land with a boost. Doing this will give you a piece of land in Uplift World, which is a Minecraft-based virtual world where landowners earn WAX and AETHER every time someone visits.
In addition Uplift World and R-Planet also have another promotion going on. The first ten R-Planet players who are able to create an in-game material called Upliftium, will earn a plot of land (50×50) in the Londom map of the Uplift World as well as some other rewards.

In total the land sale will offer two types of packs. They will offer 2,000 small packs, which cost $50 and contain one land parcel. There’s also the big pack, which costs $150 and offers three plots of land. The big packs are interesting, because these have an increased chance of containing a piece of rare land.
Rarity is determined by the mining power from a plot. For example, 100 mining power is common, 120 uncommon, 140 rare, while 200 mining power for legendary lands will be the most valuable. Players can upgrade their land by combining elements created in the generator.
R-Planet is a game on the Wax blockchain. They launched their project with the ability the acquire AETHER by staking other NFTs in the Wax ecosystem. Players could then use that AETHER to acquire basic elements, and these then need to be used to find resources. For example, combining two earth and two water creates mud.
What is R-Planet?
The story from R-Planet is about finding planets where we can live. Humanity will pick Mars, but this requires research and testing. That’s where the NFT elements come into place. Combining these will allow humanity to discover more elements, and maybe solve the puzzle. Players will be staking NFTs, mining AETHER, buying and trading these basic materials, using them to create something new, and then the cycle continuous.
We’ve already seen the staking mechanism. The basic materials have been sold and will soon come into play. In the near future R-Planet will introduce mining tools to enhance the mining activity, as well as a way to swap fungible tokens.
Ultimately R-Planet: Evacuation is just the first phase of the game. The roadmap for R-Planet goes a lot further. After this first phase will come Colonization, during which there will be a land sale and the construction of buildings. In addition we’ll be mining on Mars, and there will be a gaming element. The third phase will be Conquest, during which players will discover a hostile enemy. There will be a sale of characters, and the construction of robots and vehicles.
