The blockchain-powered esports platform Chain Games will integrate Atari Token into its competitive gaming service and vice versa. In addition Atari’s CEO Frederic Chesnais will serve as an advisor for Chain Games moving forward. The two companies also did $200.000 token swap with a locking period of six months.

Chain Games will allow the usage of the ATRI token, Atari’s native token for gaming platform, in its first-party games. Super Crypto Kart would be the first game that will use the token, followed by a newly announced mobile match-3 game. In addition the ATRI token will integrate in Chain Games’ upcoming marketplace and fantasy sports platform. At the same time Atari will support the use of the CHAIN token across its library of upcoming Atari crypto games.

In December last year Chain Games announced the integration of their crypto rewards system into Call of Duty Warzone. Their competitive platform allows players to join paid competitions and earn based on their performance.

In December a CHAIN token was worth $0.0117, right now the token has increased its value to $0.084 according to Coingecko. The Atari token launched in November and dipped down to $0.042 in December. Since then the token has slowly been moving up, now reaching $0.17.
