F1 Delta Time To Sell 2020 Content with Discount

F1 Delta Time 2020 sale REVV token

Animoca Brands is organizing a pre-sale with a discount for the 2020 content of F1 Delta Time. The pre-sale will be available for a limited time, and it will be the only moment gamers can buy items with a discount of maximal 50 percent. They will determine the discount automatically based on player participation.

Starting from November 30th gamers can deposit their REVV tokens. The deposit period ends on December 3rd, and one day later the purchase period begins. During that time players can use their deposited REVV tokens to buy keys, and on December 11th the pre-sale ends. After that all unused REVV will be returned to the original owner.

When players deposit a total of 20 million REVV, they will get a 10 percent discount. There will be a 25% discount when 30 million REVV has been deposited, while the 50% discount will unlock with 40 million REVV locked away.

Instead of crates, players will be buying keys. Each of these keys unlocks a total of five digital assets, or non-fungible tokens. Keys are fungible tokens that can be pre-purchased and traded even before they unlock the actual content.

Initially Animoca Brands will make 10.400 keys available for the pre-sale, while they will use an additional 2600 keys for giveaways, gameplay rewards and other operational activities. More keys will be added as the REVV deposit increases.

These keys replace the crates, but the existing crates from 2019 will function as normal. The new key system will give players early access to new content at a discount. In addition these keys will also be part of an upcoming staking mechanism.

F1 Delta Time keys pricing

Below you can find the base prices of the keys. Depending on the amount of players joining the pre-sale, there will be a discount that can increase up to 50 percent.

  • Legendary Key: 38.000 REVV
  • Epic Key: 18.000 REVV
  • Rare Key: 3.800 REVV
  • Common Key: 800 REVV

At the current rate REVV is valued $0.02276. This would make the cheapest keys a little over 18 dollars, while the most expensive keys cost 865 dollars.

REVV token ecosystem growing

F1 Delta Time isn’t the only game using the REVV token. Animoca Brands is adding all kinds of racing games to the ecosystem. They have licensed the Formula E and MotoGP alongside the Formula 1. In addition there are two classic Atari racing games that will also embrace the token.

REVV can be used for purchases and in-game activities. Players for example need to pay an entry fee to join in F1 Delta Time’s game modes. In addition they can stake the token and earn in-game assets that way, while game assets can be staked as well. This will earn the gamers REVV.

Gamers who have bought crates or registered themselves on the official website will receive some free REVV. Animoca Brands is distributing 6.02 million REVV among its community.

Players who own digital car parts or drivers, can earn REVV by staking them. This would allow other gamers to use their assets. In addition the REVV token is needed to maintain the quality of certain items, like for example the tires.

REVV exists on the Ethereum blockchain, and can be used in two games. This also means that players can use tokens earned in one game in the other game. Of course gamers can also sell their earned tokens on an open marketplace, like the one that Animoca will open on Uniswap.

What is F1 Delta Time?

F1 Delta Time is one of the officially licensed sports games from Animoca Brands. In this blockchain game players can collect virtual cars, drivers and car parts. Each of these parts is an unique non-fungible token and can be collected, traded, used or sold individually. Some of the very rare vehicles have sold for 16 thousand dollars through an auction. Animoca Brands already made thousands of dollars through a variety of auctions.

Competitive racing will be a core element of F1 Delta Time. Each car has characteristics unique to the vehicle. Acceleration, grip, top speed, and luck are the elements that will influence the car’s performance. Currently the races are shown top-down and feature limited gameplay options.

The Racing Game presents the players with tracks from the official Formula 1 season playable from your browser. Players go head-to-head in qualifying sessions, before going into the final race. Similar to the Time Trial, car and driver compositions are key. The right track requires the right composition, as well as the most suitable tires for the current weather.

During qualifying, the player is in direct control of their car and driver. The player needs to control the speed of their car, decelerating as the car enters a corner, and then accelerating back out. Timing and control result in better maintained speed, and therefore better times.
