It took The Sandbox less than 24 hours to sell all the 4536 land parcels and make 257 thousand dollars during the first round of their fourth pre-sale round. There were 367 gamers and investors who bought land parcels at a 10 percent discount. This was the first sales event of the fourth pre-sale round. When the next sales event takes place, is not yet known.

The fourth pre-sale round is the final one for The Sandbox. Since December 2019 the team behind the virtual world has been selling land parcels at a decreasing discount. This final sales round offers a ten percent discount from the retail price.

During this fourth pre-sale event, TSB Gaming has introduced Premium Lands. These land parcels are located near big partners or important location in the virtual world. Being next to such a hub, will be beneficial to get more traffic into your piece of land. This has everything to do with the world’s unique transport system.

The Sandbox SAND token

TSB Gaming announced this week that it has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Binance to launch the native SAND token for The Sandbox. The token will be available for sale on the Binance Launchpad platform. Exchange users who have the BNB token in their portfolio are able to join in the lottery.

Only 15 thousand people will be able to buy the SAND token. Investors can buy 200 dollars or 24 thousand SAND per ticket, and the number of tickets they get depend on their BNB holdings. In total there will be 360 million SAND for sale through Binance Launchpad. This means that one SAND is 0.008333 US dollar.

The token has a total supply of 3 billion dollars and can also be earned through in-game activities. When The Sandbox launches, hopefully by the end of this year, users will be able to use to token for all kinds of in-world purchases. They can play games, buy items, order actual products through in-game web shops and so on.
